rice mitsubishi eclipse
This first gen Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (eagle talon? Pretty sure they had black roofs… but that doesn’t matter anymore apparently!) was spotted in Washington by our friend Tyler B. Ugly body kit, unaligned hood and fenders, pimpnasty rims and disgusting spoiler give it away as extreme rice. Ohh.. that apparent AWD won’t save you now, my friend. You are in the deepest depths of car hell.

Oh no.. return of the rice!

Yes yes, I know we have been gone for a while. We here at I Smell Rice have been really busy with our exams and summer courses and work. Apologies! WE SO SORRY

Now, for what you have been waiting for… the rice. First is a Chevy Cavalier.. yes. It is from Ontario, Canada, and it is a good one! I do like the Talon in the background.. from what I can see of it. And the photo-taker’s Photoshop skillz

I was informed this was a Cobalt in Georgia. What?

Also from our good friend Alex, while he was staying in Georgia. A non-functioning hood scoop: great. It’s not even going into a hole in the hood… it’s just fake. And there. And it being there is pretty rice-y.

I won’t even talk about this one… you guys should bash this thing and tear it apart in the comments. It was sent by a dear friend from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

Four new ones for you today!

Yes… you read correctly. Four dastardly daring ricers out and about for your enjoyment!

First up… a Lincoln Towncar that rolls around Vero Beach, FL. Yep, Towncar. Check it out, it’s beautiful. I don’t even know what to say about it… just — just look!

Next, we have an Acura Integra, sent to us by our friend from Ontario, Canada! They wanted everyone to know that although it was purchased like this…it has now been de-riced. Which is good… because I’m not sure what the hell “GT” could mean on a ‘Teg. GT TYPE R OMG?! Amazing tribal snake decal, by the way.

integra, canada

Next… almost as good as the Towncar but not quite, a Mercury with sweet ass racing stripes and wing! This, by chance, was ALSO found in Vero Beach. Wow.. what is going on in that town anyways?

We definitely have saved the best for last… Actually, the best what we are not sure. This car has some identity issues. Mitsubishi Lancer, Gallant or some other sort? Chevy Truck? What is it?! Excellent paintjob, old school bling hanging from the rearview, BLUE TINTED lights and markers! SICK, hundred-horsepower-raising body kit, super wing, and in case you missed it… it has a Chevy emblem and grill underneath the factory 3-Diamonds badge.

This Honda was found in Vero Beach, FL. It sports the usual unnecessary stickers on the windows, giant airplane wing, aftermarket 15″ wheels, and taillights.

Yet another Honda.. this time a Civic in Tampa, FL. Looks like the same wheels from the first car except a bit shinier… and, of course, a body kit that is unfinished. Red spoiler on silver car, unpainted and even un-primed body pieces! Oh, aftermarket exhaust and a giant Honda sticker on the back window in case they forget what make of car they drive. Awesome.

Our last entry is unusual, and only has two things wrong with it: 1. It has a giant airplane wing, and 2. It could have used the money from the wing to fix the dents! Never thought I’d see a Hyundai Elantra like this.. guess I was wrong. Tampa, FL.

How different. A Neon and a .. what is that?

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

First off today, we have a Dodge Neon that is rice-in-the-making, found again over in Tampa, Florida. It even has some crisp damage, dual-tip muffler (!!!!) and a Dodge decal to remind the driver who manufactured it.

Secondly, I don’t even know what this is. This was snapped in the mall parking lot of Vero Beach, FL. At first look, I thought “civic? Accord.. wait, what. What is that?” It has a pretty BROWN streak across the sides on top of some nasty orange-sherbet paint. Ooh, a nice body kit and dual exhaust. Check out the shaved door handles and molded spoiler. What the crap? Can someone please identify the make and model in the comments? Click the pictures for larger versions.

This is a Honda Accord.. yes, an Accord. Not a Civic, even, but an Accord. It’s ridden with tacky, primered body kit pieces, fake(or at least useless) dual exhaust tips, huge rims with low profile tires, eurolights, and an airplane wing.

This poor 3G Mitsubishi Eclipse is armed to the teeth with useless items. HUGE airplane spoiler that would probably cause the car to insert itself to lift off, TONS of tacky decals (including the amazing StreetGlow), and a horrid body kit. If only you could see the countless huge gauges on the inside.. if only.

This Dodge Neon spotted in Florida boasts extra horsepower with its ugly rims (missing one, not pictured on driver side), euro/Altezza lights fuel tank door, body kit, and spoiler-on-top-of-spoiler action.
